The need to enhance the Member Status Validation (MSV) transaction has been a pertinent request from our customers in recent months. As a result, we have launched our Patient Profile Check, a brand-new cost-effective to address this need. In addition, using the Patient Profile Check feature will:
- Enable Healthcare service providers to embrace technology to provide a better patient experience
- Manage Healthcare credit risk
- Improve practice cash flow with credit checks
The Patient Profile Check service is enhanced to assist healthcare service providers to better manage their credit risk. This transaction feature is in partnership with one of South Africa’s trusted credit bureau, The Consumer Profile Bureau (CPB).
CPB uses one of the most powerful credit bureau rules engines in the consumer industry to verify data securely and legally through:
- The Department of Home Affairs
- The South African Revenue Service (SARS)
- Banks (Standard Bank, FNB, Nedbank and Capitec)
- All credit providers to consumers for example cell phone contract providers
Healthcare providers will also be able to trace patients who have provided the practice with falsified contact information at the point of service to collect any outstanding debt.
Performing the patient profile check:
- The Patient Profile Check has two transaction search types: Standard and Advanced
- When using the standard search option, the patient’s information will be revealed in a grid-type layout
- If you choose the advanced search option, the patient’s data will be returned with additional information including their ID photo
- The transactions are charged at R2,50 and R4.50 respectively
